Renita Hamilton has lived in Georgia House District 105 with her family for nearly 20 years. She is determined to use her technical expertise, business understanding, and passion for bringing people together to make Georgia House District 105 a more vibrant and successful community for our families.
Nothing matters more to Renita than family, community, and country. She has a 13 year old son and he attends Gwinnett County Public Schools. Kaleb plays soccer at the YMCA. He also plays the piano and cello. An avid swimmer; when Kaleb is not studying he is enjoying his X-Box 360 with friends.
Moving to Gwinnett County with her family in 1992, Renita knew this would be her home. Renita sought a life of opportunity, quality education for her son and permanently moved here after graduating from college in 2000. Having been a resident Georgia all her life Renita values policy and legislation that improve the quality of life.
Renita has been actively involved in her child’s schools and with the PTA. Renita earned her first degree in Mass Communications. Enrolled in a Master of Public Administration, Renita is currently studying Strategic Leadership and now works as an Event Director and owner of Polished Affairs LLC. Renita started Polished Affairs a social and corporate event company here in 2003. Growing a strong small business and creating jobs for the community is part of her primary goal.
